About the role
The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries are seeking to establish a pool of suitably experienced Senior Project Managers within the Infrastructure division.
We currently have two permanent positions to be filled through this pool, the related JDF’s are attached, please review to assist with your application, as per the “How to apply for this position” below
One Senior Project Manager role focusses on developing works, goods and services contracts relating to infrastructure development and management, including procurement planning and evaluation.
The other role focuses on developing business cases, delivering capital works projects via grant agreements and/or in partnership with other State Government agencies.
Each role requires consultation and negotiation with key stakeholders.
The pool will be used to fill appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made as vacancies arise over the next twelve months from the initial date of appointment from this pool.

Conditions
A current (within six months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment.
While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within the DLGSC and/or the wider public sector which arise within a reasonable period of time. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Future vacancies may be considered fixed term, part- time and full- time.
Location
The roles that this pool could be used to fill are based at the Perth Cultural Centre and 246 Vincent Street, Leederville.
