Civil Law Division - NDIS Appeals
Fixed Term Part-Time (4 days per week) to 30/6/20.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Civil Law Division to provide a service to clients with (National Disability Insurance Scheme) NDIS Appeals in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
This role will focus on providing advice, assistance and representation to people who are unsuccessful following internal review of a decision to decline access to the NDIS, or for NDIS participants who disagree with a decision made by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), such as the funded supports in their plan.
Previous experience in health and disability sectors will be highly regarded.

The selection panel will use the role specific requirements and core competencies outlined in the Job Description Form to assess your suitability for the position. Your cover letter should contain a brief summary outlining your ability to meet these, focusing mainly on the criteria highlighted in the Job Description Form.

This selection process will be initially used to fill the above vacancy and it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies throughout our organisation. Alternatively should the successful candidate decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable candidate may be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months (unless otherwise stated) from the completion date of the initial selection process. Should no suitable candidate be identified, or an offer declined, the panel may search for further candidates beyond the closing date.
