About the Role
The Metropolitan Region manages the day to day condition and ongoing development of Main Roads network and assets within the Perth Metropolitan area, to provide safe and efficient road access for the community.
The branch are currently looking for an Asset Management Officer specialising in roadside vegetation management and revegetation in the Metropolitan Region.
In this role you will apply your expertise and understanding in roadside vegetation and landscaping to develop routine and periodic maintenance Annual Works Programs and Ten Year Network Delivery Programs for the Region. You will also be required to co-ordinate the monitoring, assessment and reporting, as well as provide advice and training on regional roadside management.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate your experience in roadside vegetation management, including urban areas along with your ability to interpret landscape drawings. You will have well developed project and contract management skills and an ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. Your knowledge of dieback management and Western Australian plant species will be of benefit in this role.

1. A comprehensive CV demonstrating relevant skills and abilities within the context of the Job Role Statement
2. A statement outlining your substantial skill, knowledge and experience in the following three (3) criteria in no more than three (3) pages:
- Roadside vegetation management including in urban areas
- Project and contract management including project budget, cost control, estimating and forecasting
- Building and enhancing stakeholder relationships
3. Evidence of your Western Australian ‘C’ class drivers licence or an approved equivalent
4. Evidence of your Diploma in Environmental Monitoring and Technology or approved equivalent (if applicable)
