Conditions This is for 1 (one) Supervisor to be appointed in a permanent, part time (0.8FTE or 60.8 hours per fortnight) capacity. There will also be a Pool running for a period of 18 months from the initial appointment. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool where appointments may be considered for similar vacancies for full-time, part-time, casual, fixed term or permanency.
Location This position is located in Geraldton, a bustling coastal town on Western Australia’s Batavia Coast. Blessed with beautiful beaches and warm, sunny weather, Geraldton provides an extensive range of water based recreational and sporting activities, with special emphasis on yachting, surfing and diving.
Job Descriptions As the Supervisor you will coordinate daily visitor services operations including the high presentation standards of exhibition areas, tour guiding, some public programs, admissions, customer service and public liaison, ensures safety and security to the public and the museum collection. You will also be responsible for the coordination of rosters, timesheets, performance management, administration, retail and training requirements for the visitor services team.
