About the Role
Legal and Commercial Services is a small dynamic team focused on delivering a commercial and customer focused services.
This roles co-ordinates and assesses liability and insurance claims predominately from members of the public. This role requires you to work with and educate relevant internal stakeholders (such as regional officers and construction project managers) on how to assess and manage liability claims and you will be required to reflect on and communicate lessons learnt from past events that led to claims including via written, face-to-face and Skype communications.
You will be joining an innovative team within an organisation that encourages its staff to improve business practices and to actively contribute to the strategic direction of Main Roads. About You
You enjoy developing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with key external and internal stakeholders, including claimants, insurers, lawyers, regional offices of Main Roads, and project managers.
Great writing skills, a high attention to detail, time management and excellent interpersonal skills will help you succeed in this role. You like to show initiative by identifying and delivering on improvement projects related to your role.
Any experience in commercial contracts, insurance, procurement or legal fields will be viewed favourably for this role.
