DIRECTOR WASTE AVOIDANCE AND RESOURCE RECOVERY
STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP ROLE
The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation Perth CBD Office, including the location of this position, will relocate to Joondalup from early 2019.
Tenure: This is a 5 year Fixed Term Full Time appointment with the possibility of a further appointment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation is seeking a talented exceptional leader to effect change and excel in the sustainable management and protection of Western Australia’s water and environment.
As a Director, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Team in leading the strategic direction of the Department and help drive the Department’s overall efforts in achieving objectives and influencing relevant whole of government planning, policy and decision making.
As Director of Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery, you will ensure provide strategic leadership and direction to achieve strategic outcomes to meet WA Government and Waste Authority priorities and targets. The Director Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery oversees services to the Waste Authority, leads major waste policy and program development, influences whole-of-government and national policy formulation, provides strategic policy advice leads policy and program evaluation.
