About the Role
The role of the Infrastructure Delivery Directorate is to procure allocated infrastructure for Main Roads Western Australia. The directorate provides development and delivery of major and complex projects, in collaboration with regional and other key stakeholders across the State.
We currently require the expertise of two Project/Contract Managers to deliver a range of projects across the state, to provide a safer more efficient road network to our community. As a Project/Contract Manager you will be an integral part of an experienced project team and have the opportunity to work on a variety of road infrastructure projects throughout the state. In this role you may, at times manage contracts or projects or a combination as required and supprt more senior project/contract manager on major or complex projects.
Although based in Perth, you must be willing and able to travel and work on projects based throughout the state, for the life of the project.
About You
As the successful person, you will have proven experience in project and contract management of road and/or bridge projects and in the design and construction of roads and/or bridges. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to co-ordinate resources as well as your experience in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. Your well-developed negotiation skills will be advantageous in this role.
