Traffic Technical Services Manager
Main Roads Western Australia is the WA State Government agency responsible for the State's highways and main roads. We work in partnership with The Department of Transport and the Public Transport Authority to deliver integrated and intelligent transport systems and services.
About the Role
The Traffic Technical Services team is responsible for developing policies and guidelines for specialist traffic matters that impact upon the safe performance and operation of the road network. The team also develops operational guidelines to assist with the application of standards and policy directions set by National bodies.
Main Roads is currently looking to recruit a Traffic Technical Services Manager to lead the team and provide expert advice on the application of traffic policies and standards. Key duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing the development, review and improvement of Main Roads’ operational guidelines for traffic policies, processes and standards
- Building and enhancing collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Managing employee behaviour, performance and development
