Asset Management Officer
Main Roads is seeking to appoint an experienced Asset Management Officer to join the collaborative, progressive team within the Mid-West Gascoyne Regional Branch, based at our Geraldton office. The Asset Management Officer will take responsibility for contributing to the delivery of road asset management, network operations as well as minor construction and maintenance projects, to maintain and improve the State road network.
About the Role

You will actively contribute to the development, recommendation and monitoring of plans and programs for the efficient and effective preservation, improvement and expansion of the network. You will also assist in reporting on the condition and performance of the network against agreed intervention levels and compliance with relevant standards, systems and road processes.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and focused individual to join our team. As you will be assisting the network and asset managers with the management of the road asset planning process, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure asset management and/or maintenance. This will support you to contribute to the development and maintenance of the Regional Network Plan and monitor its implementation.
Your solid analysis and problem solving skills will assist you to develop business cases, assess road development applications as well as collect and evaluate road asset data. Proven knowledge of managing databases and the application of data systems for network asset management will be highly regarded.
