About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with comprehensive skills to join our Metropolitan Team based in Victoria Park. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a collaborative and high performing team. This role is crucial within the Metropolitan Region and has the responsibility to plan and manage the delivery of the approved Periodic Maintenance Program, Minor Capital Works for Signs and Lines, and Road Marking Maintenance consistent with the Annual Maintenance Works Program to Main Roads standards and available funds.
In addition, the role provides specialist advice on periodic maintenance management plans, processes and procedures and has an ongoing requirement to collaborate with the Maintenance Planning Manager on the Periodic Maintenance Program and the Ten Year Network Delivery Plan.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated comprehensive experience in road maintenance planning and delivery, as well as road maintenance practice (including resurfacing, resealing and pavement rehabilitation treatments and practices). You will possess strong leadership and people management skills, and will be an effective communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will have proven project and contract management experience, including experience in directly managing maintenance and capital works.
