Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Position Profile: Great Southern Medical Services are recruiting for the role of Consultant – Surgeon – Orthopaedic Surgery. The successful applicant will work within their defined scope of practice to perform clinical duties and provide patient care as an orthopaedic surgeon. Duties include; onsite consultation, emergency services, outpatient clinics, operations and procedures. You will provide clinical oversight, support and advice to medical practitioners in the region regarding orthopaedic patients and participate in programs to ensure safety and quality of orthopaedic services including audit, incident review and clinical practice improvement projects.
