The Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety are offering a permanent role within the Plant and Engineering Branch of WorkSafe. This role is conveniently based at our newly refurbished Cannington site, close to public transport links, free secure parking and amenities.
The role
As an Inspector Engineer, you will carry regulatory and technical activities in the area of plant and engineering (including amusement structures, boilers, cranes, hoists, lifts and pressure vessels). While working in a team undertaking the enforcement of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) legislation, you will also be responsible for building your capacity to take on more senior roles.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable may be offered similar opportunities that arise within the Department within 12 months from finalisation of this recruitment process.
