ABOUT PERTH ZOO CASUAL OPPORTUNITIES:
We are seeking expressions of interest for Casual opportunities, across various sections (listed below) within the Life Sciences and Animal Health and Research Directorates at Perth Zoo.
Casual positions often involve early morning calls for availability at short notice, coverage on weekends and public holidays.
Areas include:
- Primates
- Carnivores and Ungulates
- Australian Fauna
- Native Species Breeding-for-Release Programs
The Level 1 Technical Officer Zoology role is to work predominantly under supervision as an effective member of the section team providing for the basic care, husbandry and health monitoring of a subset of animals the Perth Zoo collection. Proficiency and competencies are measured against the Job Description Form. Training will occur as operationally required.
This recruitment pool functions as an Expression of Interest only for casual employment as a Level 1 Technical Officer Zoology within the Life Sciences and Animal Health and Research Directorates at Perth Zoo.
