Appointment Pool
We are seeking to establish a pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2018 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2018 school year.
Suitable applicants will have a focus on student achievement and high expectations combined with a thorough knowledge of the Health and Physical Education curriculum and be able to engage students in their learning. Ideally, applicants will be able to extend high performing students, promote active learning and provide learning opportunities which engage students at all levels to achieve their potential and will embrace and commit to the schools’ ethos and vision. ATAR Physical Education Studies would be highly regarded as is the capacity to lead recognised HPE initiatives/programs to increase the engagement and participation of students in Sport and to support the achievement of set targets in the School Business Plan.
Although not essential, it is highly desirable that recommended applicants have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as well as the capacity to teach the Certificate II Outdoor Recreation course

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
