Senior Road Planning Officer
About the Role
The Road Planning and Development Branch lead the delivery of road planning, network development, network definition and project development services across the Western Australian State Road Network. Route planning is a part of the road planning area and requires significant technical and communication skills to ensure that the State future roads plans are fully integrated.
Reporting to the Urban Road Planning Manager, the Senior Road Planning Officer will be responsible for formulating and reviewing route concepts and land protection plans for future expansion of the road network. The role also contributes advice to land use and other development proposals to achieve integrated land use and transport planning outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have substantial experience in road planning, including traffic analysis and transport modelling analysis to inform road design concepts. Ideally you will have the ability to build effective internal and external relationships across a variety of Government agencies. In addition you should have demonstrated research, analysis and problem solving skills applicable to the role.
