Asset Management Officer
About the Role
The Central and Northern Regions Directorate of Main Roads delivers road asset management, network operations and minor construction and maintenance practices throughout Western Australia, from five regional offices. As part of this directorate, our Goldfields-Esperance office, based in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, boasts a professional and friendly working environment that is devoted to the region and supporting our community.
Goldfields-Esperance is currently seeking to appoint an Asset Management Officer to join the supportive team environment within the Goldfields-Esperance Regional Branch. The Asset Management Officer will assist in:
- monitoring, assessing and reporting network performance against agreed levels of service, intervention, environmental and product standards;
- identifying solutions and developing work plans and programs to optimise the performance of the network;
- managing, collecting and storing road asset data in road data systems, inventories and databases; and
- providing technical advice to customers and stakeholders
About You
As the successful candidate you will be required to demonstrate your relevant experience in road and/or bridge planning, design, construction or maintenance - your knowledge in computer applications, in particular spreadsheets and databases would be advantageous. Your strong research, analysis and problem solving will be required and proven ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders will contribute to your success in this role.
