Research and Data Co-ordinator
About the Role
Planning and Technical Services (PTS) Directorate provides design, engineering, environmental, road safety and surveying expertise. We lead the development of integrated technical solutions and services that support a world class, safe, reliable and sustainable road based transport system.
We are looking for an experienced researcher and data analyst to join the Road Safety team. You will provide road safety research and data analysis that facilitates improved road user safety in line with Safe Systems principles. You will manage a small team of research and data analysts, enabling the Road Safety Branch to advise on road safety trends through monitoring and analysing road safety research and data.
About You
As the successful candidate you will have experience in the design, development and implementation of statistical analysis and be required to demonstrate statistical programming using advanced analysis software in a past role. Your ability to manage a team as well as managing resources within agreed allocations to deliver on outcomes is key, while your ability to build collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders will also see you succeed in this role.
