Are you a skilled Payroll Officer wanting to broaden your skills?
The Office of the Auditor General for Western Australia (OAG) is an independent agency reporting directly to Parliament on public sector performance. We help Parliament hold government to account, are a key source of independent and objective information to the community and help promote change and improve public services.
In addition to payroll, you will be part of a small HR team delivering the full range of human resources services to the Office and actively involved in Aurion HRIS admin, providing consultancy to our client-base, one-on-one inductions for new starters, recruitment and report building and running.
To do this you will need experience in processing end to end payroll and the ability to interpret legislation and policies. Preference will be given to those with experience using Aurion HRIS.

- ability to acquire and apply new knowledge quickly
- judgement and common sense in a personnel and payroll frontline role
- attention to detail and commitment to deliver a quality, accurate end to end payroll service.
We have 1 temporary fulltime position available for immediate filling for a period of 6 months as a fixed term contract or secondment opportunity.
