Asset Management Officer
Main Roads are seeking a motivated and professional individual to join the Great Southern team in Albany as Asset Management Officer. Our Albany office boasts a friendly working environment that is devoted to the Great Southern Region and supporting the community. As Asset Management Officer you will be responsible for contributing to the development, recommendation and monitoring of plans and programs for the efficient and effective use of the road network. You will be involved in the management of the road planning process, including corridor management, sub-division and development applications, and project planning clearances. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in the identification and development of solutions and priorities to optimise the performance of the regional road network.
About You
To be considered for this role you will have experience in one or more of road and/or bridge planning, asset management, design, construction or maintenance. You will possess well-developed research, analysis and problem solving skills, as well knowledge of computer applications such as spreadsheets and databases. You will also have experience in project management. As this role will see you providing technical advice to customers and external stakeholders, the ability to develop strong relationships and write in a clear, concise manner is critical.
