Legal Aid is an independent statutory authority funded by the State Government and Commonwealth Governments. It provides services to over 100,000 clients each year in the areas of criminal, family and civil law and through Legal Aid offices in Perth, Bunbury, Albany, Kalgoorlie, Geraldton, South Hedland, Broome, Kununurra, Carnarvon and Christmas Island.
Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person with strong organisation and supervision skills to act as Office Supervisor/Paralegal in the South West regional office.
The Bunbury office is staffed by five lawyers and four administration/paralegal positions. The Office Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising the day to day operations of the office, including supervisory responsibility of the administration staff. The position also provides a range of paralegal services under supervision, where required. The successful applicant will possess excellent administration, organisational and communication skills and have an ability to deal with people from all walks of life in a courteous and assertive manner. They will also have prior supervisory and staff training experience in a small team environment. See attached job description form for further details of the position.

Selection Criteria
The selection panel will use the role specific requirements and core competencies outlined in the Job Description Form to assess your suitability for the position.
