Project/Contract Manager
About the Role
Main Roads are seeking a qualified and experienced Project/Contract Manager to join our Metropolitan team based in Victoria Park. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and innovative organisation dedicated to providing our customers with a safe, reliable and sustainable road based transport system.
This role will involve managing medium size, reasonably complex projects and contracts related to the construction and maintenance of road and bridge infrastructure. The successful incumbent will manage the scoping, project development, design, delivery and review of projects, as well as preparing contract documentation and managing the contract tendering process. You will be responsible for the successful deployment of various projects across the metropolitan area and will contribute to the development and improvement of project management processes and systems.
About You
To be considered for this role you will have considerable experience in one or more of road and/or bridge design, construction and maintenance. You will have considerable experience in managing projects and contracts, as well as the ability to manage financial and other resources within agreed allocations. The role will see you working with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Therefore the successful applicant will need to demonstrate capability in building and enhancing stakeholder relationships and in negotiation and facilitation.
