Asset Management Officer (Northam)
About the Role
Main Roads is seeking to appoint an experienced Asset Management Officer to join the Wheatbelt team based at our Northam office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and progressive team during a time of growth within the Region.
The Asset Management Officer will be responsible for assisting with asset management activities including the development and management of the maintenance 10 year plan and preparation of packages of work for delivery. The role will also assist with the development of the capital improvement plan.
This role will see you undertaking the assessment of regional road asset data and identifying deficiencies to develop the long term maintenance plans and to a lesser extent the capital improvement plans.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and focused individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in one or more of asset management, road construction or maintenance and will possess solid research, analysis and problem solving skills. Proven experience managing databases and utilising computer systems will be essential.
