We’re looking for
A highly motivated manager to lead our high performing Perth Parking Policy team.
In this role you will be responsible for the effective management of the Perth Parking Policy, programs, projects and initiatives in the inner city. This will require you to consult with, and influence, a broad range of public and private sector organisations and industry representatives to develop integrated transport solutions specific for the Perth Parking Management Area. Your ability to achieve business outcomes and think strategically will ensure your success in this role.
Centrally located to public transport and the 140 urban retail, food and art destination, you will enjoy working with like-minded people who are passionate about achieve balanced transport outcomes for the Perth inner city.
We need someone who can
- Manage complex projects and empower, inspire and motivate a team to achieve results
- Demonstrate substantial experience in transport policy, programming and/or policy
- Provide innovative transport solutions and remedies to resolve issues related to Perth inner city planning and development proposals
- Lead the development and implementation of research, analysis plans and policy relating to the Perth Parking Management Act and Perth Parking Policy
- Cultivate strong, productive working relationships and partnerships

- (SC1) Experience in transport policy, programming and/or planning.
- (SC2) Demonstrated management expertise and a leadership style demonstrating the ability to deliver intended results, motivate and develop the diverse talents of employees to achieve organisational objectives.
- (SC3) Highly developed verbal and interpersonal communication skills with proven ability to consult, influence and negotiate with a range of public and private sector stakeholders on complex issues to build strategic relationships and advocate the Department’s objectives.
- (SC5) Demonstrated ability to apply and interpret relevant legislation and policies.
