About the Role
Main Roads are seeking a qualified and experienced Project/Contract Manager to join our Pilbara team based in South Hedland. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and innovative organisation dedicated to providing our customers with a safe, reliable and sustainable road based transport system.
This role will involve managing projects and contracts related to the construction, maintenance and refurbishment of both road and bridge infrastructure. The successful incumbent will play a key role in the regional delivery team and will manage construction planning, contracting strategy, financial management and staff development. You will be responsible for the successful deployment of various projects across the region and contribute to the development and improvement of project management processes and systems.
About You
To be considered for this role you will possess;
• Substantial experience in road and/or bridge design, construction and maintenance.
• Proven success in leading projects, managing resources and achieving project deadlines is essential.
• The ability to manage stakeholder relationships including negotiation and successful resolution of problems and issues.
• Experience in managing a team.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills.
