The Office of the Auditor General for Western Australia (OAG) is an independent agency reporting directly to Parliament on public sector accountability and performance. The Financial Audit unit provides Parliament with audit opinions on public sector financial statements, controls and performance indicators.
There are two (2) full-time permanent positions available for immediate filling in Financial Audit. Whilst this selection process will initially be used to appoint to these advertised vacancies, it may also be used to appoint to a similar position on a temporary or permanent basis that may arise in the Office within the next six (6) months.

We are seeking applicants with experience in external financial audit, strong organisational skills, interpersonal skills, and who have a relevant financial qualification and are undertaking a CPA, ICAA or IPA program or an appropriate equivalent.
As a Principal Auditor you will plan, supervise, conduct and report on the audits of financial statements, controls and performance indicators. With 200 public sector agencies, there is plenty of variety in assignments.
