Network Operations Manager
About the Role
The Network Operations Manager will play a key role in monitoring and reviewing the use, operation and safety issues across the road network within the Goldfields-Esperance Region. This position is based in Kalgoorlie, however the successful incumbent will be required to work in remote areas of the Region independently. This role is integral to the safe and efficient journeys of our road users and will work toward resolving network operational issues.
The successful individual will be responsible for investigating and monitoring traffic management issues as well as drawing upon your knowledge and experience to contribute to the development of traffic management and road safety solutions. You will undertake reviews on traffic designs and plans and contribute to the improvement of network operations.This involves three key areas including traffic and network operations, customer service and stakeholder relationships.
About You
We are seeking a candidate with strong experience in traffic engineering or management, including traffic design and road safety. You will possess strong research analysis and problem solving skills. Your previous experience in road use management will enable you to deliver effective advice and correspondence to Local Government and other agencies. The ability to foster and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders is crucial as this role will see you liaise and negotiate with multiple stakeholders.
