Intelligent Transport Systems Operations Manager
In response to the growing concern around congestion, Main Roads Western Australia has created a new Network Operations Directorate. This new Directorate is focused on becoming a world class road network operator through developing improved capabilities in order to manage the exciting new challenges presented.
The ITS Best Practice and Operations branch implements and manages the technology solutions used for real-time traffic operations and road network performance.
About the Role
In this critical role, you will oversee the operations and performance of all existing ITS applications and assets, lead the establishment of best practice in ITS software management and ITS asset performance, ensure sustainable expansion of our technology solutions to cater for all operational needs of the Network Operations Directorate, and participate in defining and implementing Main Roads’ ITS strategy to take advantage of new technologies and business models in Open & Big data, cooperative, connected and automated vehicles.
