The Western Australian Museum is positioning itself through scientific and academic excellence, public programs and relevant exhibitions to keep pace with the rapidly changing face of Western Australia. The Museum has made a major contribution to the collection, conservation and research of the State’s natural and social history, maritime heritage and the cultural heritage of Indigenous communities in Western Australia.
Conditions
This is a part time, (0.6FTE or 45 hours per fortnight), permanent vacancy. There will also be a Pool running for a period of 18 months from the initial appointment.Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool from which full-time, part-time, casual, fixed term or permanent appointments may be made.
Location
This position is located in central Perth, based at Gordon Stephenson House, 150 William Street. You will be ideally located above the under-ground rail link and within easy walking distance of the bustling café, tourist and shopping districts.
Job Description
As a Customer Relations Officer you will be required to provide high level customer service to members of the public through dedicated information, ticketing and booking service. Your duties include the following:
- Provide an information, ticketing and booking service to members of the public.
- Maintain customer information within a specialised Customer Relationship Management database.
- Process credit card and Eftpos payments in compliance with audit standards.
- Respond to customer comments and complaints and take appropriate remedial action.
