As part of the significant change affecting the Sector, agencies are revising their business processes and adopting state of the art systems and technology. These agencies store and handle a wide variety of sensitive information that is subject to independent scrutiny.
The Office of the Auditor General has a world-wide reputation for excellence and is a key source of independent and objective information for Parliament and the community.
The Information Systems Branch recently tabled its 2016 report on information systems across the Western Australian State Public Sector which has over 190 entities and combined assets of over $218 billion and expenditure in excess of $48 billion and 138,400 employees.

As a leader in our IS Audit team, you will be responsible for:
- leading a team of Information Systems Auditors, auditing both technical aspects of systems and the business processes
- providing technical leadership and quality assurance for information systems audit to internal and external audit client groups and customers.
The ideal applicant will have:
- excellent interpersonal, liaison and negotiation skills
- demonstrated high level report writing skills
- strong research and risk analysis skills
- considerable project management experience
- extensive knowledge of current information technology, information systems and controls,information audit techniques and strategies.
To be considered, you must have:
- a relevant tertiary or other formal qualification
- at least two IT or audit based certifications such as: MCSE, CCNA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC.
