The Office of the Auditor General for Western Australia (OAG) is an independent agency reporting directly to Parliament on public sector accountability and performance. We are the largest and most complex audit practice in WA and are able to offer unique opportunities to our talented people.
The Information Technology team is part of Business Services delivering high level, quality and cost effective corporate services support. Business Services ensures the human, financial and technology resources of the Office are used efficiently and effectively and that management has the information to effectively run the Office.
Our IT team manages the priorities of multiple stakeholders and supports the system and technology changes required for greater efficiencies. They deliver a high level of service that allows the Office to meet deadlines, managing systems and processes to support the current business demands and future needs of the OAG.
This role provides system, security and network administration services and assists in the development and maintenance of information systems including planning the installation and upgrading of software and hardware.
We currently have 1 permanent full time position available for immediate filling.
Our ideal candidate will be consultative, with the ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical clients, and additionally have:
- system, network, security and high level database administration experience
- demonstrated capability to identify and manage risk including system security and disaster planning
- experience researching, evaluating, proposing and coordinating small-scale system administration projects
- experience in Microsoft operating systems, programs and applications.
