We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officer for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
West Byford Primary is a level 6 school that opened in February 2013. The school is located on Kardan Boulevard, Byford; approximately 41kms south of Perth and situated in the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale. The Role
We are seeking School Officers who can provide administrative support in school operations, particularly in finance, enrolments, community relations and student services. Experience with Integris and the Resource Management Billing system and Compass is desirable.
The School Officer's key responsibilities are completing administrative duties, including greeting all visitors, answering the telephone and responding to routine enquiries and requests for information, using their excellent customer service skills. As School Officers at West Byford, suitable applicants should have a friendly, optimistic, and empathetic attitude and possess the qualities to interact positively with a culturally diverse group of parents and our wider community.
Suitable applicants with good organisational skills would be highly desired as the role preparing correspondence, newsletters, notices and other materials, including updating digital and online platforms such as the school website and content management system. Ideally, applicants should be able to work independently and show initiative in their daily tasks while maintaining a connection to and proud membership of the united team.

- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
