
We are seeking to establish a pool of Health and Physical Education Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
We are actively seeking teachers with Physical Education (PE) experience and knowledge of the primary physical education curriculum. As the PE teacher in the school, suitable applicants will ideally demonstrate a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students, and colleagues. The PE teacher would be responsible for coordinating and planning the physical education program for years 3 to 6, and in the future may include Pre-Primary to year 2. They would also work in collaboration with the deputy principal to organise major school and inter school sporting events such as athletics, swimming and cross-country carnivals.
Suitable applicants will ideally exhibit exemplary teaching skills, with a strong motivation to excel, and a commitment to delivering best practices. The capacity to excel in an environment characterised by whole-school connected practice, collaborative team structures, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth is highly valued.
An understanding of differentiation to meet diverse student needs is highly valued, along with proficiency in utilising various assessment tools to inform progress, provide constructive feedback, and guide future planning.
