The Role
As a Student Support Officer, you’ll work within our comprehensive Student Services Team to provide the very best in targeted support to our students most in need, with disabilities, as part of our high care and support model.
This may include supporting students with social and emotional needs and disability on a daily basis, liasing with external stakeholders and services (including NDIS providers and community organisations), assisting with the development and running of small group social and emotional learning and wellbeing programs.
We are seeking an applicant who should have the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team, delivering a high standard of evidence-based care to young people in a school context. The successful applicant should have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, student and the wider school community in which we serve.

- Demonstrated knowledge of the youth sector, particularly local organisations and services.
