Jandakot Primary School (PS) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Network Support Officer to join our friendly and professional team.
This innovative role is focused on ensuring the effective and efficient operations of the school’s network to support our educational goals and administrative functions, within the Departmental asset management and security regulatory framework. The Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the school’s information and communication technologies (ICT) network and systems and developing and maintaining an ICT replacement program. They will also provide advice and training on technical issues, applications and enhancements associated with ICT and in line with the Department of Education (DoE) requirements and policies. The ability to work within the framework and understandings established by the Learning with ICT and ensure the integrity of educational and administrative data through the implementation and maintenance of data security strategies, is important in this role. The successful applicant will liaise with DoE ICT Support to resolve hardware, software, and network related issues.
As the successful applicant, you will ideally have the ability to problem solve and provide innovative solutions for diverse scenarios. Ideally, you will be well organised and experienced in reviewing, researching, identifying and improving ICT infrastructure and resources. This is not just a help desk role – we are ideally seeking a proactive individual who will facilitate network, systems and device management and improvement. You should be able to articulate school ICT needs to the finance and other committees and assist with developing and implementing plans for objectives and goals to be realised.
