John Curtin College of the Arts (JCCA) is a leader in public education. We use the Arts as a vehicle for student engagement and motivation. The Arts at John Curtin is as much about providing dynamic opportunities for all students (each year we produce over 100 performances/exhibitions) as it is about developing transferable life skills such as empathy, creative and critical thinking, collaboration and the ability to communicate, all important attributes for any future pathway.

The Role
The successful applicant will ideally be an innovative and highly motivated educator with the ability to provide quality teaching in the Humanities and Social Sciences curriculum area and work effectively as part of dedicated team. The successful applicant should have a passion for their curriculum area and a deep understanding of instructional strategies to effectively engage students in the learning process.
The successful applicant should be a reflective practitioner who actively engages in activities to improve their professional practice. They will ideally possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be collaborative members of the whole school community, embracing the school’s vision, values and strategic directions.
