The Role

Madeley PS is seeking to appoint a reliable, energetic and motivated individual to join our team in the role of Gardener – Handyperson.   As a key member, you will be instrumental in maintaining the school grounds, ensuring they are safe, tidy and conducive to a positive environment for both staff and students. 

From overseeing the turf areas, garden beds and shrubs to managing hard landscaping features like courts and paving, you will play a vital role in creating an inviting and inspiring outdoor space.

The successful applicant will ideally perform minor repairs and maintenance as requested, as well as other Gardener-Handyperson duties in accordance with the Department’s policies and guidelines.  You should ideally also possess good interpersonal skills, along with the ability to receive and carry out instructions as required.
