We are seeking to establish a pool of Mainstream Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

East Kalgoorlie PS is seeking motivated and compassionate Mainstream Education Assistants to join their dedicated team.

As a Mainstream Education Assistant, you should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will work in collaboration with teachers to create and maintain a supportive, inclusive education program for all students. The suitable applicants should be passionate about making a difference. Ideally, they will be organised and will be able to use their initiative to assist with the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment, along with preparing resources for use in classes, displays and demonstrations. These skills will also be utilised to aid teachers by assisting with the general care and well-being of students.  They will also assist the teacher with the clean and safe storage of items after classes and activities.
