Baynton West Primary School (PS) is looking for a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2025

The Role

Baynton West PS is seeking an Early Childhood Education Teacher to join their friendly team. The successful applicant will ideally be passionate, motivated and skilled educators who are committed to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for every child, every day, through our whole school approaches, explicit teaching and instructional strategies.

We highly value applicants who are committed to developing positive relationships with students, parents, staff and the wider community. Additionally, applicants should possess a strong capacity to plan challenging and engaging programs using an excellent understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum in a “playfully explicit” context.

We are seeking applicants who are innovative and possess high quality teaching skills and knowledge. The successful applicant will ideally be committed to ongoing professional growth and development, actively seek and accept feedback, support current whole school processes and be a collegial, effective collaborator.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers

Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position.  At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
