The Role

Kelmscott SHS is seeking an innovative and effective leader with outstanding interpersonal skills to fill the role of HOLA - Science, to join their leadership team.

As a member of the School Leadership Team, you will contribute to the implementation of the school’s Business Plan through participative decision making whilst promoting the school’s vision and strategic directions. You should drive improvement by providing proactive leadership that is collaborative, inspiring and supportive. Leading by example, you should model high aspirations and expectations of staff and students.

The successful applicant should have the ability to lead change and innovation, supported by your capacity to use evidence-based data to inform decision making. You will be responsible for the analysis of performance data related to the science learning area and the development, implementation and analysis of improvement plans, both strategic and operational. You will be responsible for developing your team of teachers by providing curriculum leadership and working collaboratively to ensure quality teaching is delivered to meet the needs of all students, empowering each individual student to achieve to their full potential.
