About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a school culture that promotes positive relationships between students and between students and staff, and engaging parents and the wider community in the educational work of the school.

The successful applicant will continually review and add value to existing processes, ensuring the college provides a contemporary program to develop work-ready, competent and qualified young adults for the Agricultural and related industries. 

The Principal will ensure the establishment of systems and structures to foster academic development and improvements in social and emotional development for students. They will possess a commitment to continuous school improvement and development of the instructional program, particularly the pedagogy of teachers, and building networks with other agencies, other schools, and services in the community to benefit school programs.

About WA College of Agriculture - Denmark

WA College of Agriculture - Denmark is a 560 hectare working farm and educational facility for Year 10, 11 and 12 students offering a wide variety of studies and industry training with an agricultural focus. We attract students from all over the state from a wide variety of backgrounds and have a capacity of around 140 students.

The College aims to introduce and develop independent living skills, encouraging students to have confidence, responsibility, motivation and pride in themselves.

One of five WA Colleges of Agriculture, Denmark is considered a leading light in the achievement of educational and training outcomes for young men and women in a diverse range of agricultural and related fields. We deliver Australian Curriculum courses to Year 10 students and WACE (Western Australian Certificate of Education) courses to Year 11 and 12 students. As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), we deliver Certificate I-III level qualifications in a wide range of industry areas including Agriculture, Automotive, Conservation and Land Management, Engineering, Equine, Forestry and Horticulture.
