We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Bayulu Remote Community School caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 8. Our school is located on Gooniyandi country, 15km from the town of Fitzroy Crossing in the Kimberley region. The Role
As School Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our school and will be responsible for completing administrative duties including greeting all visitors, answering the telephone and responding to routine enquiries and requests for information. Suitable applicants will ideally have a friendly, positive and caring attitude and possess the qualities to promote excellence within our school and to interact with parents and the wider community.
As School Officer, suitable applicants will undertake reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering the telephone and responding to routine enquiries and requests for information, in an efficient and friendly manner. The successful applicant will assist with the maintenance of school facilities, assets and resources, including reporting faults, organising repairs, assisting with stock takes and updating the asset and resources registers.
Suitable applicants will ideally provide effective and accurate general clerical and administrative support at the school. As the school officer, you will assist the Manager Corporate Services with the induction and training of school support staff and recruitment processes.
