The WA College of Agriculture – Morawa (WACOA – Morawa) is seeking to appoint an experienced, highly skilled, passionate and student-centred Vocational Trainer and Assessor - Engineering.
WACOA – Morawa is a highly regarded Independent Public School, which enrols students from across Western Australia to study specialist agriculture courses and trade certificates, while living in a co-education, residential boarding facility.
The WACOA – Morawa is adjacent to the town site of Morawa which is situated 360km north of Perth. The property is 3,242ha and primarily a broad acre grain growing farm which also accommodates Beef Cattle Stud, Merino and Crossbred Sheep and Piggery enterprises. Morawa is located in the Midwest region and is an hour from the coastal town of Dongara and an hour and a half from the Regional City of Geraldton.
The College delivers a quality agricultural education to students in Years 10, 11 and 12 through a combination of Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) subjects and Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) qualifications which enables students to follow pathways to University or further study, or a General pathway to an apprenticeship, TAFE or employment. The College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and delivers National Training Package qualifications in Agriculture, Automotive, Engineering, Horse Care and Aquaculture.

The Role
WACOA – Morawa is seeking a dedicated applicant who is passionate about working with young adults in an agricultural education environment. The successful applicant will have the ability to work as part of a skilled team who deliver WACE and VET Certificates to students in Years 10, 11 and 12 within a Co-ed agricultural education, residential boarding environment.
The successful applicant will be required to hold a relevant Certificate III trade qualification or higher and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and have a passion for education and training.

- Demonstrated sound written and verbal communication skills with the appropriate interpersonal skills for working with young people.
- Demonstrated initiative and organisational skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
