This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 with possible extension

The WA College of Agriculture - Narrogin provides day and residential students with a range of agricultural-based curricula from Years 10 to 12. We are located on the outskirts of Narrogin, 195 kms south-east of Perth and function across three sections: Class, Farm and Trades in addition to being a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 50506). We have approximately 150 students enrolled for 2025 who come from across WA due to their interest in our particular agricultural context.

The Role

We are looking for a successful applicant capable of leading a vibrant and diverse team of teachers across a range of subject areas. Experience in leading Teaching for Impact and the core elements of the Quality Teaching Strategy would be ideal, as would leading Special Educational Needs (SEN) planning and reporting.

The successful applicant should ideally have a proven capacity for leading learning, be committed to our developing celebration of diversity and possess the ability to inspire a team to reflect, diversify and improve on educational practice. Through understanding the range of School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) requirements across the college, the successful candidate will ideally be organisationally efficient and strategically minded moving forward. The willingness to work collaboratively in team environments, and contextually collaborate with our Trades and Farm teachers and trainers to ensure learning is cross-curricular would be highly regarded

This is a 1.0 FTE fixed-term position, with the teaching component load to be negotiated with the Deputy Principal. We welcome applications from aspirational Level 3 practitioners as well as experienced ones.

The temporary ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply in this school.
