Nungarin Primary School (PS) is seeking a motivated and passionate primary teacher to join our small teaching team for the 2025 teaching year.
Nungarin PS is a very small Eastern Wheatbelt rural school, 41 km North of Merredin. Nungarin PS is a very important part of this close-knit community. We actively partake in local activities and encourage community members to engage with us and assist in our school. We cater for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. Central to our school's purpose is high quality teaching and explicit learning across all curriculum areas with a strong focus on English and Mathematics. The Role
The successful applicant will be fully supported in planning and providing high quality, engaging teaching, and learning programs that are designed to meet our student’s needs.
Our school boasts a positive culture and builds strong student and family relationships. Our focus is on a commitment to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for every child. Knowledge of the MultiLit suite would be a bonus but not a requirement, training can be provided. Ideally applicants will have experience in explicit teaching, instructional strategies, and differentiation.

- consent to and obtain a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
