The Role
Ardross PS is seeking to appoint a high-quality Deputy Principal to be part of an enthusiastic leadership team to drive school improvement in a collaborative learning environment. The successful applicant will ideally bring with them a wealth of experience and knowledge of evidence-based, data driven practices in developing and delivering the school’s strategic direction.
The successful applicant will ideally have a deep understanding of change management processes and should be able to build connectedness between year-level teams and phase-of-learning teams when developing, implementing, and embedding consistent whole-school practices.
Ideally, you will have the ability to lead teams and differentiate support for each individual staff member as well as the ability to build and foster positive and authentic relationships and partnerships with students, staff and community members to support and maintain our positive school culture. To be successful in this role you should be a team player, assume positive intent and have the skills and personal attributes to work collaboratively with staff, parents, students and wider education networks to achieve our strategic goals. Your ability to reflect and improve on your practice as a leader in our school will model what we expect from our staff and students.
The successful applicant will preferably have experience in leading Teaching and learning with an emphasis on Explicit Teaching of Literacy and implementation of the bring your own device (BYOD) program.
