This is twelve (12) month fixed term, part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2024 with possible 12 months extension.

The Role
As School Officer you will be the first point of contact for our school and will be responsible for completing administrative duties including greeting all visitors, answering the telephone, and responding to routine enquiries and requests for information. Suitable applicants should have a friendly, positive, and caring attitude and possess the qualities to promote excellence within our school.
The successful applicant would ideally have the skills to assist with the development and production of printed and online marketing materials, to support the school’s activities and events. The successful applicant would also ideally have the capacity to maintain the school website, online applications and social media. The ability to assist with coordinating events and activities is also highly desirable. Knowledge of school base systems such as Integris, Compass, RM Finance and Student Information System (SIS) would be highly desirable. It would be advantageous to have experience in a range of Microsoft Office packages to enhance our administration processes and provide effective marketing and communication strategies.

- Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
