The Role
We are actively seeking an experienced, Secondary Generalist Teacher with exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with students, families and colleagues, with the ultimate outcome being engaged and active learning in your classroom. As a Secondary Generalist Teacher you would promptly establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment, set high expectations and cultivate a growth mindset, while nurturing students' social and emotional development.
Our school offers small class sizes in our Secondary School, allowing you to focus on the individual needs of students while delivering quality curriculum through an explicit instruction model. You will be supported by a strong and knowledgeable leadership team, who provide both strong guidelines for practice and in-class coaching and mentoring.
Our students are seeking connection and direction, and teaching that invests in them and their future as strong and productive citizens of Bruce Rock. While there are some required subject areas to teach, we have the capability to tailor this role to suit your interests or qualifications as an educator. We welcome interest and applications from Primary School trained educators who are interested in exploring Secondary Teaching, and will support staff on the LEAP program.
