The Role
Mount Lawley SHS is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Media and Communications Officer (MCO) to join our school.
In this role, the successful applicant should support Mount Lawley SHS by developing and implementing communications, public relations, media, and engagement strategies for the school. This role centres on creating and delivering comprehensive, integrated plans for public relations, communication, and engagement.
The role requires the successful applicant to produce a range of school printed and online publications, including year books, course books and handbooks using a variety of IT programs and software. The successful applicant will also be responsible for capturing photographic images for promotional material and social media posts. Additionally, the successful applicant will be required to help plan, organise, promote and attend school events and activities, including some that take place outside of regular working hours. The successful applicant will ideally have the passion and energy to connect our school to the community in a way that engages and informs our current students and their families.
