We are seeking to establish a pool of Generalist Teachers for fixed term, full-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Ngaanyatjarra Lands School (NLS) are looking for committed and culturally responsive teachers to fill a range of immediate vacancies in Early Childhood Education, Primary, Secondary and full-time relief teaching.
NLS comprises eight campuses operating under the leadership of an Executive Principal, spread across the Western Desert of Western Australia and provides for students from kindergarten to Year 12. Teachers and School Administrators employed at Ngaanyatjarra Lands School in 2025 are eligible to receive a temporary Attraction and Retention Incentive of $2 500 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE and tenure). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year. Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment.
The temporary ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply in this school.

We encourage internal secondment opportunities for permanent teachers in other locations within the Department of Education who would like to work at our school for up to three years and retain their substantive position.
