The Role
Byford SC is seeking to appoint an experienced, motivated, and innovative Teacher - Health and Physical Education (HPE) – Netball Specialist to join their HPE department.
We are seeking a highly skilled, energetic, and enthusiastic teacher who will ideally continue to build on the current successes of the Netball Program. The successful applicant will ideally have high standards of organisation, professionalism, and will ideally embrace opportunities for collaboration and partnerships within the school and the wider netball community. Applicants working towards coaching accreditation and have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment are encouraged to apply.
The successful applicant is responsible for working with teachers within the program and the HPE Department to drive improvement strategies in both netball and HPE. They should actively participate in and lead ongoing professional learning opportunities, reflecting on their own leadership practices to build staff capacity and enhance student engagement, to sustain a culture of high-quality teaching. They will ideally work in collaboration with the Head of Learning Area and the HPE team to lead strategies and identified initiatives in HPE that continue to drive a culture of excellence in teaching and learning across Years 7 to 12..
